Product Description

DF4060 is a silicone based defoamer for use in oilfield processing applications. It will prevent foaming in virtually any industrial application. It acts quickly breaking up the foam without altering the effectiveness of the cleaning solution or effluent treatment chemicals being used.DF4060 has excellent elimination and antifoaming properties. It can be added after the foam is produced or added as a foam inhibiting component. The defoaming agent can be added in an amount of 10-100ppm. The optimal dosage is tested by the customer according to the specific conditions.
Defoamer is a specially formulated oilfield additive designed to eliminate and prevent foam formation during drilling, production, and various fluid treatment processes. Excessive foam can interfere with operational efficiency, hinder accurate fluid level measurements, and cause equipment malfunctions. By effectively breaking down existing foam and inhibiting new foam generation, defoamers ensure smoother and safer oilfield operations.

Chemical Properties and Application
    Corrosion inhibitors is an amine formaldehyde polymer which can be used for most acid systems for most applicable tubular materials.
    Corrosion inhibitors is dispersible in acids. The barriers established by Corrosion inhibitors on tubular surface avoid contact areas between acids and metal surface and therefore corrosion chemical reactions are stopped. Corrosion inhibitors is effective for most metals including carbon steels and chrome steels. It can also be used in most acids such as hydrochloride and hydrofluoride. Minimal corrosion and pitting problem are observed on tubular and equipment using acids containing Corrosion inhibitors.
    Corrosion inhibitors is compatible with most additives and acid systems. Lab testing is required when surfactant other than Corrosion inhibitors or acids other than HCl and HF are used. Special attention is required for Corrosion inhibitors design for sour gas (H2S and CO2) wells.
